Should we use special types of excuse notes for late arrivals?

English Slovenčina

Starting from the second semester of 2025, EduPage can automatically calculate late arrivals. You just need to mark them as either excused or unexcused absences—for example, with a parental excuse note for the whole day or week.

EduPage recognizes that these are late arrivals and correctly counts them toward the total number of excused or unexcused hours.

If you have created a special type of excuse note specifically for tracking tardies, with the setting "do not count in attendance," this is no longer necessary or recommended. EduPage will not include such tardies in the student's attendance records at all.

Use excuse notes for individual lessons or full days. EduPage will identify the tardies and automatically include them in the student's attendance summary.
